As an motivated 'can-do' type of person, I trained for 2 years at college and completed the Institute of Qualified Professional Secretaries Course along with 3 A Levels and numerous RSAs and Shorthand certificates before completing a BA Honours Graduate from De Montfort University with Law and Accounting as my major and minor in the early 1990's.

Working in numerous business environments during my 20 years plus experience as a Personal Assistant and Business Graduate I developed my skills into Office Management, Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, IT, Financial and Training. Although I have tried to keep up to date with HMRC guidelines and basic accounting principles required for any book-keeper position I stress I am NOT a trained accountant.

I have throughout my working life been required to keep up to date with IT and found I was training individuals on specific issues they had, speaking to small groups of people on new systems, working with the developers of be-spoke training packages to adapt to specific requirements, speaking at workshops and seminars. In 2010 I attained Level 4 on the Preparing for Teaching for Life Long Learning Course accredited by the University of Warwick allowing me to teach any adult (16+), I use this within the Professional Services but also the Voluntary sector.

Past professional organisations have included Accountants, Barristers Chambers,  Insolvency Firms, Law Firms, NHS, Patent Offices, Social Housing, Steel Manufacturing, Transport and Retail.

Within the Voluntary sector and have been privileged to sit on two IQPS National Groups as well as Treasurer and Secretary on their Regional Branch in the 1980-1990's. In 2007 I joined the Rugby Borough Credit Union and became there FSA Approved Compliance Officer andthe Bradby Youth Club at the same time as a volunteer only. In October 2009 I stood down from the Credit Union to develop my role with the Youth Club. I currently sit as Secretary and Trustee for Bradby Youth Club but also lead the group on the Club gaining a National Youth Service Quality Mark.

After moving to London in the 1990's I decided to change my emphasis in 2001 and relocate to Warwickshire to create a better work/life balance, the beauty and space whilst only being 55 minutes from London. In 2009 I became self-employed to use my breadth of experience in running efficient offices and offer my services to others.
